Rebecca Flyckt, MD is Division Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and Professor of Reproductive Biology at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Flyckt is a nationally-known REI and reproductive surgeon with particular expertise in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Flyckt’s research interests include reproductive surgery and transplantation, endometriosis, and fertility preservation and she has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts in these areas. She was principal investigator in the trial that resulted in the first live-birth from a uterine transplant using a deceased donor in the U.S. in 2019. She is President of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons (SRS) and Academic Director of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI). She is co-editor of surgical videos for the journal Fertility and Sterility. Dr. Flyckt created the Surgical Scholars Track at her institution and has a passion for training the next generation of leaders in the field of reproductive surgery.
