Rebecca Flyckt, MD is Division Chief of REI at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and Professor of Reproductive Biology at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Flyckt is a reproductive surgeon with particular expertise in minimally invasive surgery. She was principal investigator in the trial that resulted in the first live-birth from a uterine transplant using a deceased donor in the U.S. in 2019. Dr. Flyckt’s research interests include reproductive surgery and transplantation, endometriosis, and fertility preservation and she has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts in these areas. She serves on the boards of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons and Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and is a member of the Practice Committee of the ASRM. She is on the Fertility and Sterility editorial board. She is the Site Director for the Surgical Scholars Track at UH and has a passion for training the next generation of reproductive surgeons.
