Speaker Bio
I attended medical school and residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Oregon where I am from. I became interested in disparities in access to minimally invasive Gynecologic Surgery and surgical outcomes in residency which prompted me to pursue a career in MIGS. I completed MIGS fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital where I had incredible mentorship both in the OR and in my research. During fellowship I also obtained my MPH at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health. After graduating from fellowship in June of 2024, I moved to Anchorage, Alaska where I joined Alaska Women’s Health as the first fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon in the state of Alaska.
