Dr. Elise Bardawil is an Assistant Professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Washington University in St. Louis and a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS).   She completed her MD at Drexel University School of Medicine, her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Emory University, and her MIGS fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.  She is the fellowship director as well as interim division director.  Her clinical focus is on the surgical management of endometriosis, fibroids, and complex benign pathology.  She is a high volume laparoscopic and robotic surgeon.   Her ongoing research interests are same-day discharge in relation to area of deprivation impact, surgical disparities in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and the correlation between endometrioma size and AAGL’s endometriosis scoring system.
