Maria Claudia Alzamora Schmatz is currently completing a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital–Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
