Dr. Peter Thiel is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada. He completed his AAGL fellowship in MIGS at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and holds a Master of Public Health in Clinical Effectiveness. Dr. Thiel’s clinical work focuses on the medical and surgical management of endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, cesarean scar disorders, and operative hysteroscopy. His research aims to optimize surgical outcomes, and he has a growing body of work exploring the intersection of endometriosis and mental health. Dr. Thiel is passionate about surgical education and teaching residents to think critically in the OR.
