Course Description

This debate explores and critically evaluates the efficiency of gynecological laparoscopic surgery compared to robotic-assisted surgery. The presentations will examine key factors such as operative time, cost-effectiveness, surgical precision, patient outcomes, recovery time, and accessibility. Through evidence-based discussion and structured debate, participants will be able to analyze current research, compare technological advantages, and assess clinical implications in gynecologic practice.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Compare surgical efficiency between laparoscopic and robotic gynecological procedures, including operative time, complication rates, and patient recovery outcomes.
  2. Evaluate cost-effectiveness and resource utilization of both approaches in different healthcare settings.
  3. Construct and defend evidence-based arguments regarding the advantages and limitations of each surgical technique in a formal debate setting.
