This course highlights tips and tricks of difficult uterine preserving surgery. Describing tips and tricks of difficult uterine preserving surgery. Although minimally invasive approaches to treat complex uterine disease have been described more than 20 years ago, MIGS surgeons are facing very complex surgical situations in patients with multiple myomas or diffuse adenomyosis. In such cases uterine-preserving surgery remains a difficult challenge.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, the participant will be able to: 1) Demonstrate advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic uterine preserving surgical technique in patients who wish to preserve their fertility; and 2) Discuss the respective role of laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and laparotomy.
