This course is designed to address minimally invasive surgical approaches to pelvic organ prolapse. This course will present discussions and videos on a variety of minimally invasive surgical techniques ranging from obliterative to reconstructive pelvic surgeries performed. We will review different surgical routes and techniques for Sacrospinous and Uterosacral ligament suspension, Hysteropexy, Sacrocolpopexy, Lefort/Colpectomy.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, the participant will be able to: 1) Consider differences and indications for obliterative and reconstructive pelvic surgeries for patients with pelvic organ prolapse; 2) Consider different surgical techniques for obliterative procedures surgeries including Lefort colpocleisis and total colpocleisis with or without hysterectomy; and 3) Consider different reconstructive pelvic surgeries with native tissue repair or mesh augmented repair via minimally invasive surgical routes including laparoscopic, robot-assisted and vaginal approaches.
