This course will offer techniques and encouragement that allow providers to improve their care of the patient with endometriosis from clinic evaluation and informed consent through surgical identification and management of all aspects of disease.  It will also provide insight into current and future basic science research regarding endometriosis.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, the participant will be able to: 1) Demonstrate understanding of the basics in office evaluation and ultrasound techniques that will allow a more informed consent process; 2) Demonstrate a complete intraoperative evaluation for endometriosis and techniques used to dissect and excise suspected endometriosis of all stages; and 3) Explore current interests and advances in basic science research related to endometriosis.
